HAN TRAN, O.D.
Optometrist & Owner
Originally from California, Dr. Tran earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She is now proud to call the Portland metro area home, where she provides compassionate, personalized care to the local community.

Dr. Tran is a therapeutically certified optometrist trained to diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eye, cataracts, macular degeneration, and more. She is an active member of both the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA).

For Dr. Tran, optometry is about more than just eye exams—it’s about building relationships and finding practical solutions to improve each patient’s vision, eye health, and overall comfort.
Outside of the office, you’ll find her exploring new (and favorite) travel spots, trying out different foods, playing with her dog, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
JULIA LIEU, O.D.
Optometrist
Born and raised in Portland, Dr. Lieu is proud to provide personalized eye care to the community she’s always called home. At 82nd EyeCare & PDX EyeCare, she takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle to offer clear, customized vision solutions.

Dr. Lieu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. Her clinical training included rotations at Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center, Madigan Army Medical Center, and the Retina Institute of Hawaii—giving her a strong foundation in both general eye care and specialized ocular disease management.

Outside the office, Dr. Lieu enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
She’s passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to help Portland residents see and feel their best every day.
CATE WREGE, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Cate Wregé is a graduate of Oregon State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She’s passionate about helping patients see clearly and educating them about their eye health every step of the way.

With a background in scientific illustration, Dr. Wregé has had her detailed work on eye and brain anatomy published in academic texts—a perfect blend of art and science that enhances the care she provides.
Outside the exam room, you’ll find her sketching, exploring the Portland area, and tracking down the best local coffee and bubble tea shops with friends and family.

JANNIE LEE, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Jannie Lee earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2013 and made Oregon her home in 2014.
​
Her passion for eye care began early—she was just six years old when she received her first pair of glasses, sparking a lifelong interest in vision and optometry. Today, Dr. Lee is committed to helping patients see their best and feel confident, whether it's through contact lenses, glasses, or addressing overall eye health.
​
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys Oregon’s hiking trails, as well as spending cozy days baking, reading, or working on crafts.

NELLIE CHUNG, O.D.
Optometrist
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Chung earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Her interest in optometry was sparked after witnessing her mother’s experience with a retinal detachment—an event that inspired her to pursue a career focused on protecting and improving vision.
She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, and completed a residency at the Puget Sound VA, where she gained advanced training in comprehensive eye care.

Dr. Chung now lives in Portland with her husband—also an optometrist—and their lovable labradoodle, Charli. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new craft brews, cooking, and gardening. She is also proficient in Korean and values connecting with patients across language and culture.

Dr. Chung is proud to care for the Portland community at PDX EyeCare, where her goal is to deliver personalized, thorough vision care you can trust.
DANIEL OGATA, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Daniel Ogata earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. During his training, he completed externships at the American Lakes VA in Tacoma as well as several private practices across the Pacific Northwest, gaining hands-on experience in comprehensive eye care.
Optometry runs in the family—Dr. Ogata proudly follows in the footsteps of his parents, Dr. Dale Ogata and Dr. Sharon Hirata.

A lifelong resident of Washington County, Dr. Ogata enjoys staying active in the community he grew up in. Outside of the clinic, he loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing recreational sports, and cheering on the Oregon State Beavers.

Dr. Ogata is dedicated to delivering thorough, patient-centered care to the Portland area.
